About Us

We are independent fee-only investment advisors.  Our only loyalty is to our clients, not to a large company or product sponsor.  This means that we earn our money by serving your interests and in earning your trust, not by earning commissions.

Our mission is to help people maximize their investment returns while simultaneously minimizing their portfolio risk at a level appropriate for their individual life situation. We work achieve this goal by constructing portfolios using primarily low cost index Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and using the methods of Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT).

This is based on our belief that Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) is a more prudent method for investing client’s assets.  It is a solid time-tested technique supported by many of the worlds leading economist and several Nobel Prize winners.

Some of the features and advantages of applying Modern Portfolio Theory(MPT) to index ETF investing include:

•Global diversification across different asset classes

•Greater tax efficiency because of lower turnover

•Lower expenses as compared to actively managed Mutual Funds

•Level of risk can be tailored to each client’s comfort level

Simply stated, we believe that Exchange Traded Funds are a smarter, more efficient way to invest.  They combine the simplicity and diversification of mutual funds with the flexibility of common stocks.

ETFs are often referred to as hybrid securities, because they contain attributes of both index mutual funds and common stocks.  Like index mutual funds, each share of an ETF represents ownership in a portfolio of stocks or bonds designed to track a particular market index or benchmark.  Like shares of individual stocks, ETFs are traded throughout the day on an exchange.
